Getting started
WishNap is for iPhone, needs iOS 17 or later, and is in English. There’s no account to make. Open it, answer a few short questions, and park your first thing.
Parking, the nap, the wake-up question and your “not spent” total are free. WishNap Pro adds the weekly review, the trigger map and moods, goals, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, the Live Activity, quiet hours for shops, and the breathing pause and 3-minute “Ride it out” wait. More on Pro.
Park something
From Safari
- On the product page, tap Share.
- Pick WishNap in the row of apps.
- Check the name and price. Tag a feeling if you like; it’s optional.
- Tap Park. The button says how long it’ll nap, like “Park for 7 days”.
From a shopping app: tap the app’s Share button and pick WishNap. Apps share less than Safari does, often just a link or a line of text, so you may need to type the price.
By hand: in Parked, tap +. A link, a price and a photo from your library are all optional.
I can’t find WishNap in the Share sheet
Swipe the row of app icons all the way to the end and tap More. WishNap is in that list. Tap Edit there to add it to your Favorites, and it’ll show up first next time.
It says “Add a price to park”
From the Share sheet, WishNap needs a price to choose the right nap, so type it in. Only things you add by hand with + can be parked without a price. Those nap as long as the second tier ($25–$150), which is 3 days unless you’ve changed it.
The name, price or photo didn’t come through
Safari gives WishNap the most to work with. Other apps may share only a link or some text, and some pages don’t name a photo. You can type the name and price before you park. WishNap reads all of this on your iPhone; the page itself isn’t sent anywhere.
It says it’s already parked
You’ve parked that link before, so WishNap shows you the one that’s already napping instead of making a second copy.
Does WishNap watch the price?
No. WishNap only knows the price you parked it at. It doesn’t check shops for price changes.
Is there an iPad, Mac or Android version?
No. WishNap is made for iPhone.
Cooling-off timers
Pricier things nap longer. These are the defaults:
- Under $25Candles, snacks, cables24 hours

Exactly $25 naps for 3 days; exactly $150 or $500 naps for a week. Timers count real hours, so a clock change never cuts one short.
Change the timers
Go to Settings › Cooling off › Cooling-off rules. Use − and + to change a nap (anywhere from 6 hours to 60 days), tap a price to move the line between tiers, or tap Reset to defaults. Changes apply to things you park from now on. What’s already parked keeps its timer.
For one item only: on the Park sheet, tap Change next to the nap length and pick another.
I shop in euros, pounds or another currency
The tiers compare the number in the item’s own currency, without converting it. So “under 25” also means under €25 or under £25. For currencies without cents, such as yen, the first line sits at ¥2,500. Your “not spent” total is kept separately for each currency and never added across currencies.
Can I change the nap of something already parked?
Its timer stays as it was when you parked it. You can decide early (see below), or give it longer: tap it and choose Give it 3 more days, or swipe right on it in Parked and tap Snooze, which asks you 3 days after its timer would have ended.
Can I decide before the timer ends?
Yes. Tap the item and choose Decide now, or swipe left on it in Parked.
When a timer ends
When a nap is over, WishNap asks one question: do you still want it? You’ll see it the next time you open WishNap (if several are ready, they come one at a time), and in a notification if you’ve allowed them.

- Yes, I still want itWishNap asks two short questions first: what changed, and whether you already have something like it. You can still let it go, or tap I’m buying it and it’s logged as bought. No judgment, and it’s two taps if you’re sure.

From the notification: touch and hold it to answer without opening the app: Let it go or I still want it. Choosing I still want it there logs it as bought.
What counts toward “not spent”?
The price of everything you let go. Something with no price counts as a thing let go but adds nothing to the amount. Each currency keeps its own total. Your total is free, always.
Where do things I bought go?
They’re logged in your history, neutrally. Saying yes is a fine answer.
Notifications
WishNap asks right after you park your first thing, or when you tap Settings › Cooling off › Notifications. Its notifications are made on your iPhone; there’s no server of ours sending them. You may get:
- a timer ending (when several end together, one notification, like “3 things are ready to decide”)
- your weekly review, on Sunday evening Pro
- a streak milestone
- a reminder 2 days before a free trial ends
Never between 10pm and 8am, and never more than two a day. A timer that ends at night waits for the morning.
To change them, go to Settings › Cooling off › Notifications in WishNap, which opens WishNap’s page in the Settings app. If you tapped “Not now” when WishNap asked, tapping Notifications there asks again instead.
Widgets and Live Activity Pro
- Home Screen: your “not spent” total, in small, medium and large.
- Lock Screen: your total, your goal, or what’s next up.
- Live Activity: the next item to wake up, counting down on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. It appears when that timer will end within 8 hours (the longest iOS allows), one item at a time.
To add a widget: touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen, tap Edit or +, then Add Widget, and search for WishNap. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold it, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, then tap the widget area.
To turn off the Live Activity: on your iPhone, go to Settings › WishNap and switch off Live Activities.
Quiet hours for shops Pro
Quiet hours rest the shopping apps, categories and websites you choose, on the days and at the times you set. Set them up in Settings › Cooling off › Quiet hours for shops: pick the shops with Apple’s Screen Time picker, choose the days and times, and pick Pause first or Block. WishNap asks for Screen Time permission when you choose the shops or turn quiet hours on, never before.
During quiet hours, opening one of those shops shows a calm screen that says when the shops wake up, with your “not spent” total and your goal unless you turn off Show my savings on the pause screen. It has two buttons: Close, and Let me through anyway, which always gets you through.
- Pause first: “Let me through anyway” starts a short breath on that screen (12 seconds unless you change Breathing pause). Once it’s over, Let me through opens that one app or website for 15 minutes; every other shop still pauses first. If you chose a whole category, the whole category opens. Links to parked things that you open from WishNap during quiet hours show the same breathing pause first.
- Block: “Let me through anyway” opens every shop at once, for 15 minutes. Then, if quiet hours are still on, they rest again.
WishNap can’t see which apps you chose: Apple gives it only sealed tokens, and they stay on this iPhone. Without Screen Time permission you can still turn quiet hours on; the shops won’t rest, but in Pause first, links WishNap opens still get the breathing pause.
iCloud and your data
If you’re signed in to iCloud, WishNap keeps a copy of your things in your own private iCloud, automatically. There’s no switch in the app; Settings › Your data › iCloud shows whether it’s in use. To keep WishNap on this iPhone only, turn iCloud off for WishNap in the Settings app on your iPhone: tap your name, then iCloud, then Show All (or See All) under the apps using iCloud, and turn off WishNap.
I got a new iPhone
Sign in with the same Apple ID and install WishNap. Your things come back from iCloud; it can take a little while. Product photos aren’t synced through iCloud, so they stay on the old iPhone. With a different Apple ID, WishNap starts empty and without your subscription.
I signed out of iCloud and my things are gone
WishNap keeps its own copy on your iPhone for exactly this. When it notices, it offers to Bring it all back, or you can Start fresh instead.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings › Account › Export history. WishNap makes a file named like “WishNap export 2026-09-24.json” and opens the Share sheet so you can save or send it. It has everything that syncs; product photos and the apps you chose for quiet hours aren’t included.
How do I bring an export back?
Go to Settings › Your data › Import a copy and choose the file. It merges with what’s already there and never overwrites anything newer. A file from a newer version of WishNap needs the app updated first.
How do I delete everything?
Go to Settings › Your data › Delete all data and confirm twice. It erases everything you’ve parked, every decision, your goals and your settings, plus the product photos and the apps you chose for quiet hours on this iPhone. While iCloud is on for WishNap, the deletion reaches your iCloud too, and from there your other devices. It can’t be undone, so export first if you might want it later. Your subscription isn’t affected.
I deleted one item. Is it gone?
It’s gone from your list. WishNap still keeps a record of it marked as deleted, in your iCloud copy and in exports too, until you use Delete all data.
Can you recover my data?
No, because we never have a copy. Your data is only on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud. Keep an export if you’d like a spare. The privacy policy has the details.
How do I ask about my data or have it deleted?
Write to support@wishnap.com. Your list never reaches us, so we have none of it to send you or delete; Delete all data in WishNap does that. RevenueCat, which checks subscriptions for us, keeps a record for each install of WishNap. If you’ve bought WishNap Pro, include the Order ID from your App Store receipt, and we can find that record and delete it. The privacy policy explains what the record holds.
WishNap Pro and billing
Free: parking things from the Share sheet or by hand, their cooling-off timers, the wake-up question and its notifications, your answers (let it go, bought or snooze), your “not spent” total and month-by-month view, the cooling-off rules, and export, import and delete.

$39.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $6.99 a month with no trial. Prices are in US dollars; your App Store shows your local price. The trial is on the annual plan, for Apple IDs that haven’t used it. With notifications on, WishNap reminds you 2 days before it ends. Full details are in the terms.
WishNap shows its plans once while you set it up and once after the first thing you let go. After that, only when you open a Pro feature or go to Settings. Closing that screen never locks anything free.
How do I restore my purchase?
In WishNap, go to Settings › Account › Subscription and tap Restore on the plans screen. Use the same Apple ID you subscribed with. There’s no account, so your Apple ID is how WishNap finds it.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions › WishNap › Cancel Subscription (during the free trial, the button says Cancel Free Trial). If you’re subscribed, Settings › Account › Subscription in WishNap opens the same screen. Apple’s guide: Cancel a subscription from Apple.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date (or before the free trial ends) to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We can’t cancel for you; subscriptions belong to your Apple ID.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles payments, so refunds go through Apple: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We never see your card or payment details, and we can’t issue refunds ourselves.
Can I share Pro with my family?
No. WishNap Pro isn’t available through Family Sharing; each Apple ID subscribes on its own.
What happens if my subscription ends?
The Pro features lock again. Nothing you’ve saved is deleted, and everything free keeps working.
